I don’t worry too much about my weight but I do monitor it and I’m comfortable if it’s in the 68-72kg range. And for those who don’t know me I’m about 5 foot 8. I’m sorry but for some reason I think weights in metric units and heights in feet and inches.

Restaurant Metropolitan, Avignon; 28 Sep 12
We left the UK by Eurostar on Wednesday morning and then changed to the TGV in Lille to travel on to Avignon. And although the sun shone as we emerged from the tunnel the weather steadily deteriorated as we went south and by the time we got to Avignon it was dreadful.

I’ve had a long relationship with Indonesia. I lived there for a couple of years in the 70s, I’ve got a continuing marital connection and I gave my cameras, cash and credit cards to an unnamed Balinese a few years ago (click here to read about that!).
