HICCA is the Histon and Impington Climate Change Action group and held its first AGM, rather appropriately, in Homefield Park in Impington.
HICCA is a local initiative to do something about climate change and has ambitions to make Histon and Impington carbon neutral in pretty short order. It meets monthly and information about its activities can be found on its web-site. It has only been in existance for just over a year but already can boast an imprssive record of meetings on the one hand and action on the other.
Membership of HICCA is open to anyone and all who liove locally and are concerned about climate change should take a look and join up. It is affiliated with other groups in neighbouring villages and further afield.
