Life’s too short to drink instant coffee

welcome to a new look

I decided that I would become a little more expert in WordPress this year and exercise a little more control over the appearance and working of my website. Well this is it but I guess it’s just the start.

I’m using the WordPress theme Twenty Twentyfour which gives the website builder more freedom to design his or her site without resort to CSS programming. This current iteration of my site is little more than a straight import but as I become more confident and understand better what I can do it should evolve.

I’ve edited a few of my recent posts to fit better with this theme but older ones may look a little disjointed. Click here to see them in the old format.

This is my first post with this new design and the featured image is a photograph I frequently take, 19 The Green in Histon. It’s a splendid cottage which you view across The Brook and this evening with lots of water for a good reflection, the soft light of the evening and a display of crocuses it really does look rather good.
