Photo of the Month: January 2024

This is one of those photos which I thought I must take after seeing a photographer with his tripod taking it one sunny day on Harrison Way in St Ives. A day or so later I was ready and parked conveniently. Sadly the sun was not shining and all I had was my mobile. However it was a bright day and the flooding across Withorn Meadow along side the Great Ouse was suitably reflecting so I got a shot I’m happy with. It’s recorded the highest numbers of ‘likes’ on my Instagram feed.

The original photo was taken with my Samsung Galaxy s20 FE 1/160th at f2.4 ISO 25 and a ’35mm focal length equivalent’ of 76mm.
