Photo of the Month: July 2023

This is another result of seeing an opportunity and taking it using my phone. I was driving towards the RSPB site at the Fen Drayton Lakes when I looked right and saw this scene. It reminded me of similar ones that landscape photographers, especially Scandinavian ones, seem to get excited by. This is the windmill at Swavesey and a dramatic, brooding Cambridgeshire sky.

This photo was taken with my Samsung Galaxy s20 FE 1/900th at f2.4 ISO 25 and a ’35mm focal length equivalent’ of 76mm, that’s the 3x telephoto option.
