Apr 16: photo of the month

Here’s my Apr 16 photo of the month. It’s another church, All Saints in Jesus Lane, but it’s really a photo of a sunset.

It’s one of those photos you take because you see it and you’ve got to do it. I was driving into Cambridge and coming round the roundabout at the end of Victoria Avenue. I saw the shot and fortunately there’s a service road in front of the first few houses of Jesus Lane. I parked there and made the shot.

This photo was taken with my phone, an HTC One A9, 1/190 sec at f2. I’ve straightened the shot by 1 degree and cropped it down to 3*4 to eliminate some boring road in the foreground. Click here to see the original.
