Mar 16: photo of the month

2016-03-14 12.11.11

Here’s my photo of the month for Feb 16. It’s of what they call a ‘redundant church’. St Peter’s on Castle Street between Honey Hill and Kettle’s Yard currently revealed because of renovations at the latter and a sign I’ve never seen before. Rather magic.

It’s a pleasing shot made possible by the church’s elevated position enabling me to show the steps leading up to it. My frustration with it is the notice board on the left. A little more care with the original framing would have overcome that.

This photo was taken with my phone, an HTC One A9, 1/860 sec at f2. There’s been no post processing.
