Here’s my photo of the month for Feb 16. It’s a shot of the super new roof at King’s Cross and shows people waiting on the walkway which leads through into the main station.
The modernisation of King’s Cross has transformed the station. In addition to providing it with lots of necessary facilities with more coffee shops than you can shake a stick at it gives it open space and lots of interesting photo opportunities.
I use the station frequently and with my railcard can enjoy a return trip to London for £18.00. If I’ve got to meet people I often leave it at as I use either King’s Cross itself or the lobby of the Marriott at St Pancras to meet them.
This photo was taken with my phone, an HTC One A9, 1/33 sec at f2. The only post processing is a light crop to eliminate clutter at the bottom of the picture.
